About Us
Operating Since 2014
Sven and Dewi Hasselmann have been operating this business since 2014. Before this they both worked in ” Human Hospitality Industry” And decided Dogs and Cats are their passion.
They pride themselves on providing a warm, clean, safe and comfortable environment for your pets to enjoy a holiday of their own while you are away.
They have both enjoyed working from home with their own little menagerie three dogs two cats and one bird luckily will be growing more.
Their home is just a five metre away from the main kennels entrance so thay can monitor them 24/7 if needed.

Menagerie Boarding Kennels & Cattery in Whakatane has facilities for boarding cats and dogs.
As we have large facilities we are able to board dogs together with other dogs of similar size, providing a safe and harmonious environment for your pets.
Our pledge is to provide customers and their pets a service that is second to none.
We have room for dogs of all sizes and
breeds
ALL ANIMALS MUST HAVE CURRENT VACCINATIONS UP TO DATE
THE CARDS MUST BE PROVIDED TO US WHEN BRINGING YOUR PET TO STAY AT OUR BOARDING KENNELS OR CATTERIES.
These cards will be returned to the owners at the time of collection.

When it comes to the colder months we have a range of winter jackets that we will put on your dogs to sleep in at night to keep your pooches toasty warm.

At Managerie your dog(s) will have a great time socialising with the other dogs of similair size.
We have plenty of room for the anti-social dogs that need their own space.
Doggy Day Care
If you are looking to get your dog some exercise and loving attention during the day whilst you are busy working or doing other things, then drop them off in the morning with us and then pick them up again in the evening.
